With a new year comes change and at Loom, that change is intentional.

When we first talked about Loom Labs, it was never meant to be a skunkworks for ideas that lived on whiteboards. Loom Labs was designed to show the possibility of real integrations and how the security stack can be used to determine and enforce strong posture. Loom Labs was created to solve a very specific problem we kept seeing in the field: security teams are drowning in tools, signals, and dashboards, yet still struggling to answer the most basic questions about posture, risk, and priority.

What started as experiments has now earned its next chapter.

We’re excited to share that Loom Labs is evolving into Loom Innovations, a reflection of how deeply our thinking has evolved from services-led insight to product-driven execution.

Why Build A Product At All?

As a services organization, we sit shoulder to shoulder with customers every day. We see where DSPM, CSPM, ASPM, ISPM, and dozens of other xSPMs overlap. We see where they conflict and we see the real gap no single tool seems to address, unified context. Most security tools do one thing well. Almost none of them explain how their findings connect to everything else.

That’s the problem Loom Labs was born to explore.
